<p>Open to all UW students enrolled in a dance course!</p><p>Dancers must be available for concert dates February 26th- March 1st, 2026. </p><h2>Choreographers</h2><p>Amanda Winterbauer, Kate Hancock, MC Womack, Natasha Crowley, Sachiko Miyoshi, Samantha Stratman, Taylor Burbacher</p><h2>Styles</h2><p>Styles will include a range of contemporary, ballet and street styles.

<p>José Limón based his technique on the natural rhythms of and dynamism between fall and recovery, underlining the idea that movement itself can create emotion and meaning. This season’s repertoire includes choreography by Limón, Brian Brooks, Talley Beatty and Mark Morris that explores the despair, thrill and humor intrinsic in the act of falling.</p>

<p>The UW Department of Dance invites all UW affiliated fans of dance to a welcome-back dance party. Mix and mingle with new and familiar faces in the department, play games, win prizes, and snap a picture at our photo booth. </p>

<p>The UW Department of Dance will be hosting auditions for the UW Dance Majors Concert on November 18th, 2019 at Meany Hall 265. </p>
