<p>David Alexander Rahbee conducts the University Symphony in a performance of Schubert's “Unfinished” Symphony and music by Italian composer Luigi Dallapicolla. The orchestra is then joined by the Combined UW Choirs to perform Schumann’s <em>Nachtlied,</em> Op. 108 and Ravel’s <em>Daphnis et Chloé:</em> Suite No. 2.</p>

<p>Autumn Quarter Ethnomusicology Visiting Artist Miguel Ballumbrosio presents a performance of Afro-Peruvian dance and music traditions from the region of Chincha, where several generations of his family have been prominent culture bearers. He is joined by guest artists De Cajón and by his UW students from Music and Dance.</p>

<div>Indian Classical vocalist, educator, and composer, Srivani Jade presents "Ritu Chakra: Ragas of the Six Seasons of North India" in the culminating recital of her artist residency at the UW School of Music. She is accompanied by Deepashri Joglekar (Harmonium), Ravi Albright (Tabla), Suchitra Iyer (Vocal Saath), and Tanpura. Her UW students present a short opening act of Ragas and bandish compositions they learned during the quarter.</div>

<p>Pianists Robin and Rachelle McCabe return to the Meany stage to perform Brahms’s magisterial two piano arrangement of his F minor quintet as well as music by Ravel and Prokofiev in this spirited display of sisterly chemistry.</p>
